I used to have two trees in my yard. One in the front yard and one in the back. Now, I either have one tree or three, depending on how you look at it. The storm that ripped through NE Texas and SW Arkansas yesterday wreaked a lot of havoc in my neighborhood. The above photo shows what is left and still standing of my tree in the backyard… Nice, eh?!
Also, the area where I live was hit nowhere near as hard as Texarkana South of the Interstate… I think people will be cleaning up for quite some time… But, as I am trying to do a lot more frequent now, at least I can have firewood for this winter!

I’m sorry to hear about your tree. I’m thankful it didn’t hit your fence, house, or car, though! We survived with nothing worse than losing electricity for a few hours. It was bad all around us.
