Yesterday’s 1-mile walk/run went by pretty fast. I did 1.29 mile in 15 minutes, 34 seconds with an average pace of 12 minute, one second per mile. That is good for me…
Anyway, I have enjoyed my physical exertion this week. I enjoy the alone time, listening to music, and pushing myself to do a little bit more than I care to. I feel good after I get done running. I feel a little sore in the mornings. I look forward to doing it again… I just hope I can stick with it…
Until next time…

I totally understand needing alone time, just beware of isolation. In times like these we need our friends & family the most. Don’t let fear keep you isolated from those who love you and can support you. Love ya!

You know Steven and I run _almost_ every night at the PG Middle School track. We are usually there between 7:30 and 8:30ish. I would love to see you there. We mostly jog (I wouldn’t call it running) and usually get through a mile in about 11-12 minutes.
Maybe it’s just me but running hasn’t helped me lose weight at all. I don’t eat right so that could be my problem. I’ve noticed that I feel better, though.
If you do your running in the neighborhood and it’s after work (not before!) and you’re looking for company (yes, I did read your other post) give me a shout. I’ll be glad to run/walk/hang out with you.
Have I sent you the link to geek-fitness.com? It’s done by the ilovejackdaniels.com guy. He describes his experiences with the couch-to-5k plan. It’s an interesting read if nothing else. Here’s another one I found while searching for the other: geekfitness.wordpress.com. It’s not near as informative but I’m posting it because the guy can run forever on his treadmill (which isn’t the same as the real stuff!)
And apparently, I can’t form a complete post without using a million ()’s.
Anyway, holler sometime.
