I had to take a little break from a development project this weekend so I decided to go out to our local lake and do some shooting. Here’s what I came up with. below are some shots from the photo set on my Flickr page.
Until next time…
I have created a Photo Set on Flickr to keep up with my learning experiences with my Canon 500D close up lens attachment/filter.
I took some more photos this weekend, after the photos I took for my client on Saturday, at a local park with a spring fed lake. Sounds a lot like Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, TX, huh?! Anyway, the subjects weren’t as beautiful as the ones I took photos of Saturday but I still got some interesting photos.
Below are a few. be sure to check out the Photo Set when you have a free moment and frequent it often as I will be adding images to it as soon as I take more with the lens.
Until next time…
I went to a client’s site yesterday morning and took some photos of some crops he had just about ready to be shipped. The colors were fantastic and since I need some additional photos for his Web site, and I wanted to use my camera really badly, I was definitely mentally up to the challenge… Skill wise?! Ahhh…
Anyway, here are some of my favorites listed below. You can view the full set here on Flickr.
Just a friendly reminder, this is my second time to mess with my Canon 500D on top of my Canon 75-300mm lens. Also, click on any of the above photos to get a larger view and more options.
Until next time…
A friend of mine, Scott, has been turning me on to some nifty lens filters for use in photography. Since I have a pretty nifty camera, a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, it’s about time I start learning more about photography and try to get halfway decent at it. I mean, I enjoy doing it, but it seems everyone else out there takes one shot that is noteworthy… I take 247 and 5 of them are worth a hoot… Anyway…
I went to my dad’s for a little bit this weekend and used my camera’s 75-300mm zoom lens with the Canon 500D Close-up Lens attached and came up with some decent shots… It was my first time using the attachment and having to manually focus the camera. For some reason, the auto focus doesn’t play nice with this lens lens attachment combination. So, below are some of my photos that turned out decent in my opinion.
As always, click on any of the above images for a larger version.
Until next time…
