Is double posting inappropriate?! Is it frowned upon in the blogging community?! To double post or not to double post: that is the question.
Since I began the cocoacrusty.com blog I have posted a few technical articles that I have also posted to the averageadmins.com blog. I feel the technical articles should be posted to the average admins blog but I also want them to be posted here on cocoacrusty.com. Whenever I post the technical articles that I have written here to the average admins blog, I put a statement at the top of the article that states something like “Originally posted at cocoacrusty.com on February 22nd, 2007.”
I was just curious what all of my 3.75 readers out there thought about the whole “double posting” issue. Do you feel like it is ok to do that?! I mean, the average admins site is a community blog that I started and contribute to, and the cocoacrusty.com blog is a personal blog for me as well that I have a vested interest in also. I write the content, I share it on my sites as I see fit. I just wanted to see what other people thought about the whole issue.
Of course, I am going to do what I want to do, and for now that is double posting technical articles here and on the average admins site. I like both sites equally as well and want to make both great. Your thoughts are welcome and appreciated.
Until next time…

double post all you want. to me, it saves your aa readers from having to read your personal blog to find mac related stuff and it saves your cc readers from having to read your technical blog just to get their dose of apple tech.
i don’t mind the whole double posting thing. DP is always a good thing.

I don’t see anything wrong with double posting.
I dig the random order of the blogroll links each time you visit. Nice! Did you do that?

Yeah, I made the blogroll sort randomly. I have a lot more than 10 links in my blogroll, but it randomly chooses 10 each time you refresh the page.
My blogroll is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.
