I cleaned up my desk today, well, actually yesterday since it is now 12:27AM on Sunday morning. I got it looking so good I thought I would take some pictures of it. I needed to get my stuff straightened up so I could do some development without being overwhelmed. The photos are posted below:

Looks nice! It’s been a while since I’ve seen the ole office. What kinda of use does your desktop pc get now days?
FromFebruary 12th, 2007 at 12:27 PM
The desktop PC gets no use these days. I fire it up every now and then when I’m looking for some files or something. I will still use it when Bruce and I get back into some Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142. Of course, I’ll still have to use it for Half-Life 2 and what not as well.
Anyway, I do everything on my Mac now. Development, Photoshop, Word/Excel, you name it. I’m sold on the Mac!

If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of laptop stand is that? Looks like it’d be great for my office setup which includes a 2nd monitor for extended desktop action. I’ve been wanting to go back to a regular keyboard but I don’t really have the desk real estate right now.

jb,
I don’t mind you asking at all. It is called the Elevator by Griffin Technology. It runs $39.99 and you can view more information as well as purchase the Elevator here.
I truly enjoy mine. It gets my 13″ MacBook up off the desk and in my face, which saves my back when coding for hours upon hours. No more leaving the desk looking like a hunchback.
I run dual monitors on my desktop PC and, when I can afford the price of a small used car, will use one of Apple’s Cinema displays along side my MacBook for added screen real estate.
Enjoy!

Awesome, thanks! Hopefully it won’t have a problem holding up this 14lb Inspiron XPS that I’m stuck with
FromFebruary 15th, 2007 at 10:39 AM
I don’t expect it would have an issue, jb. It seems pretty sturdy.

The office looks really great. My desk is so cluttered right now that I can’t write there — I’m back at the dining room table. I need to follow your lead and clean up my desk!

Thanks for the compliment, Jennifer. I just hope I can keep it that way. It is much nicer working in an uncluttered environment.
Now if I could only get my desk at work cleaned off…
Jeff
